The lineup of new summer releases has been unveiled, promising a delightful cinematic experience for children and movie enthusiasts alike.
Among the offerings is ‘Between the Cliffs’, a children’s film written and directed by Mokhtar Abdollahi. This charming tale is set to grace theaters from Wednesday, August 09, filling a void in the local cinema scene within this genre.
Joining Abdollahi's creation is ‘Nargil 2’ (Coconut 2), a film directed by Davoud Atyabi that complements the children's film collection.
Next on the released list is the star-studded Navid Mahmoudi’s ‘The Last Birthday’, the story of a profound love that unfolds amidst the dense smoke of war. Elnaz Shakerdoust, Pedram Sharifi and Armin Rahimian are among the cast members of the flick.
Cinema-goers in Iran have already had their share of comedy, but that is not all – Kamal Tabrizi’s ‘Bumpy Story’ is set to make its debut on the silver screen starting from August 09. The film is about Arezou, a woman with a profound interest in writing, who fervently intertwines her final story with her dreams.
Last but not least on the list is Amir-Hossein Hemmati’s ‘The Pillar Number Fourteen’. This film is set to hit screens with age restrictions due to its intense and violent scenes, making it unsuitable for all age groups.
